Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor starrer highly anticipated film ‘Animal’ is set to make its global debut tomorrow, and will also be released in Bangladesh on the same day.
Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan marked the beginning of Hindi films being released in Bangladesh, followed by SRK’s Jawan and Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo. Now, Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal has become the fourth Indian movie to be released in Bangladeshi theatres.
Gholam Kibria Lipu, the head of import company Kibria Films, has confirmed the matter to the media. According to Lipu, the movie is scheduled for release in Bangladesh on the same day. “We already have got the permission from Information and Broadcasting Ministry. We hope that movie lovers of our country will enjoy the movie from the day of global debut of the film”, said Lipu.
Pathaan was the first Hindi film to receive a commercial release in Bangladesh since 1971, opening in 48 theatres with nearly 200 shows per day. Animal also apparently becomes the second movie after Jawan to be released on the same day as the rest of the world.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film has already created a buzz with its intense trailer, and Bangladeshi fans will have the opportunity to witness this pan-Indian film alongside its global release.
The movie, which revolves around an intense family drama and the complex relationship between the characters, is expected to be a significant addition to the Indian film industry. The star-studded cast includes Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Tripti Dimri, among others.
